Theory about Kate being and turning into The Chaser (SPOILERS)

Ok, we all know what happened to Kate; She got attacked in her house, jumped out a window, collected 8 Pages outside, and got taken by Slender. In reality though, we don't know much. Let's go into detail, shall we? Ok, so, we know that Kate was chased out of her house by Slender. I think that's where Genesis (Or, "Slender: The Eight Pages" if you will.) takes place. It takes place after Kate got chased out. Then when she was taken by Slenderman, that's where the Secret Missing Child Poster Level takes place; It's Kate, being in the process of having her mind taken by Slenderman! In the second portion of the Secret Level, you hear the Proxified Kate's screams and yells each time you go through a doorway. In the third portion, you're Inside a circle of Fire, unable to move, whlie Slender slowly walks into you. This might be some sort of ritual that Slender is doing inside her mind to fully remove her mind from her body. And the statement "You are dead" might be the fact that her real mind is dead. When you try to continue the Secret Level, it just shows the Camera looking up into the sky, and filling with Static and such. This might be all that Kate's true mind can see. Blankness. In a way, Kate is actually dead. As for Charlie, he might still have some of his younger self's mind inside of him, as he's seen crying, inside a burned down house, at the very start of the game. This might be his true mind being sad about what happened to him.

So, this is an amazing theory but you've made a small mistake: Based on the notes CR wrote, we know, that Genesis allready took place before Escape. CR wrote, that he founded Kate in the park with a bag of weird drawings (The Eight Pages) . CR died before Kate becomed a Proxy. But else, this theory is very interesting and maybe it is true.
