Slender won't start.

I bought the game today, Slender The Arrival. The installation process and such ran smoothly, but when I try to load the game and play, it crashes. It gets to the window where you choose the game resolution and graphics, then proceeds with saying there is a problem with the program and forces me to close. I don't even get to load the game up past that window. Any ideas? I hope I didn't buy the game for nothing. ._.

Right click the game through the Steam library>Delete Local Content and then go download again :)

I did reinstall the game mutlple times but it didn't work. I did find a way to get it working. If you're having the same issue as me where it crashes on launch, go to your games in your steam library. Find Slender and right click on it and go to "properties" then click "Set launch options" and type in "-force-opengl" including the quotation marks. Then load the game again. It worked for me instantly. I read this on another thread after about an hour of searching for new ideas. Hope this helps. :)
