Slender: The Arrival

Slender: The Arrival

I found out where Slender: The Arrival takes place.
It takes place in Canada. How do I know? Well, in the 3rd level, you see on the poster of Charlie Matheson Jr. The number 555, which is a Canadian phone code, I think so, at least. If I'm wrong about that, in the level Homestead C.R.'s car license plate says Alberta, which is in Canada.

Woa. That's actually kinda neat.

This is a cool way to find location, but the 555 prefix for phone numbers are mainly used in fictional media. This is to avoid using real phone numbers, incase they happen to be someone's phone number in the past, present, or future. (See for more information.[en.wikipedia.org]) I like the idea of using license plates to determine the location of an area, but it's also possible that C.R.'s car could just be from Alberta, while the location may be from somewhere else. Of course, that isn't likely, but it's important to remember. (This is just a silly thing I have in my head, but it is possible that the level homestead takes place in Alberta, and C.R. travelled there to investigate and perhaps used a rental car, although the rest of the game takes place somewhere else.)

Ik it's a reach to judge based on an asset but judging by the age and model of the car, the condition it appears to be in and the phone and tv in kate's house appear to be from at least the 2000s I don't think that car could be a rental I think it would have to be either carls personal vehicle or someone he knows because i feel like his jobless as* can't pay car insurance so I think at least cr is a Canadian resident and the game is either entirely in Canada or crosses the border, it's also a potential that cr moved away to canada and came back to the states look for charlie with kate

wait that a fake number I was so close to call that number I was thinking they use a real number and if I call someone from the game was going to answer me
