If some people are wondering who the person chasing you in the "Into The Abyss" Level of the game, its not Jeff the killer. I know people might think that cause of the black hair and bloody white hoody, but Jeff doesnt wear a mask. Others might think Masky, but Masky doesnt wear a white hoody and the masks are totally different. Besides, Masky is a guy isnt he? The person that chases you is no other than Kate herself.

Kate went to the woods with C.R to find and end the Slenderman, but Slender got a hold of her. Kate was turned into a proxy from Slender. It even shows in the end of the game, you see Kate in the corner crying, and if you approach her, it reveals that she is "The Chaser". C.R...well...i will let you play the game yourself.. So, in the abyss, Kate is the one chasing you, hints the name "Kate The Chaser". In fact, Kate wasnt the only proxy in the game, but im not gonna talk bout that one cause most of you who played the game already know and if you dont, then you need to explore the game more and find more things, dont just do the story...and please dont just watch a youtuber play the game, it ruins the fun of playing the game yourself!

Now i dont want any hate on this, this was just a thing to do cause im bored and some people are confused...so...yeah. Hope this helped some confusion!

In stage 4 flashback (now renamed to escape in 2.0) you play as Kate in her house trying to keep Slender Man out. If you listen close enough to the fluidity of her voice, you can tell she definitly knows he's a threat, so she knows what he's capable of, and that he wants to get her. Obviously she was suffering from Slender sickness, here's my proof.

Slender sickness is when you're paranoid, you'll be sick and think insane thoughts, you could be insane and start drawing those drawing of him (obviously the part of the sickness Kate is suffering from) OR you'll never feel safe and always be out in the woods thinking about Slendy but not thinking twice about going into his home.

Anyways, Slender Man is programmed to get in no matter what, in the end of chapter 4, Slender Man is waiting for Kate in her room, but Kate jumps out the window, she's been in the forest all night and day, finally a day after chapter 4 happens, you start driving to Kate's location only to find that she's nowhere to be found. When you pick up that page in her room and hear the scream, that's her being caught.

Now you go out t investigate only to be stuck in the same situation Kate was in the eight pages (according to the notes you can find in the game CR says he found Kate behind the house with a broken flashlight with 8 disturbing pages in her bag, this is the events after the eight pages) you avoid being caught and then find the Kullman mining company mine entrance. When you go in you need to get to the radio tower (from Kate's warnings) but when you're powering generators, you have no idea that Kate has reached the level of lossed sanity.

That night you hear her scream was when she was caught after all those years of avoiding him. Now that he had her, he turned her into a crazed girl, not knowing it's your friend Kate... right after that night.

If you don't beleive all of that, then try to deny this...
version 1.5 added a new ending, you're in the burned house. Charlie's old house (Charlie was the third child he caught (it's a long story, just search up Slender the Arrival theory, there is a two part theory explaining everything) and if you manage to get to the correct room in that house, you see Kate... but it's not Kate... Lauren (your character) has reached th elevel of hallucinating. First from almost dying from Slendy and Kate, then seeing her burned friend, being taken from Charlie, and being alone for who knows how long...

When you approach Kate, you stop hallucinating and find out that she's still insane... in her proxy form.

Seriously, when you approach Kate she jumpscares you as the enemy in chapter 3 (Into the abyss)

If you have anything to say about the non-existent Jeff, or the I wish masky was in there instead of Charlie, please just repost my reply in yours.
