Game doesn't get past "Made in Unity" screen on MacOS Sonoma 14.1.1

Hi, I just bought this game and am having trouble getting it to start.

When I launch it, I see the "Made In Unity" graphic, my cursor changes to the game cursor, and then I get stuck on a grey screen.

The Mac spinning cursor of doom pops up shortly after, and the game is marked as Not Responding by the OS.

I'm on an M1 Macbook Pro with Sonoma 14.1.1. Let me know if I can provide any more info!

I wasn't able to repro this on second try, so consider it a false alarm! Will update if it happens again :)
