The Reeves Takes Damage at The Near End of Battle For Unknown Reason

Looking at the footage (and the in-game damage numbers) it seems like what's happening is the final wave of runners are the only thing capable of doing the 23 damage the Reeves takes.

Having no access to the code (and no ability to read code :slak:), judging purely off of the video, my best guess is that Roland is knocking one of the runners back onto the spawn tile at the same time as the fourth runner is set to spawn. It might be that enemies can't spawn on the spawn tile if another entity is already in that exact spot. Which possibly means that, with the enemy unable to spawn, it just skips spawning and auto-completes its path to the Reeves, damaging it.

Does make me wonder if this niche bug exists in DQ1 with Markos too and no one ever noticed.
