I know it is a hard concept to wrap your head around nowadays, but games can just be...done.

This game desperately needed balance.
Games can just be done, but I think when they don't completely FEEL done yet, it can be frustrating. I'm not looking for the same level of consideration and same amounts of updates as, say, Stardew, to be put into every single game over an extended period of time, that's completely unrealistic and not remotely feasible. But honestly, Stardew (as an example) would have - and DID - FEEL "done" many, many updates ago. A lot of us aren't looking for that level of anything, just games that feel done. I can only speak for myself but I think I'd also appreciate it if devs were able to tell us they were probably done working on a project, just so we could stop wondering/hoping.

This game is really good. But with only a couple of updates it could be really great, and FEEL "done".

I don't own it, and came to look at the community after reading reviews. Yeah, a game can just be done, but it's clear from the reviews it's not "done," to player's satisfaction. There's much to be fixed, and the game has been out for a year with (as far as I can tell) zero updates. So if the game is "done," a year in, and players still have issues with the gameplay, and the devs don't seem to have any intentions of fixing those issues, then why would I want to pay a "done," game price for a game that wasn't "done," correctly at release, and isn't ever going to be "done," to player's satisfaction.

I want to play a game that's actually done, or at least holds the potential to be done at some point. I don't have money to waste on "done enough, and you'll just have to be okay with it," unless it's a *really* impressive "done enough," game.

Also thanks for starting this conversation, because it's exactly what I wanted to know. After a year, I can't find mention of previous updates, or of plans to update the issues players seem to have. This game might be worth a try on sale, but it sounds like a very "as is," game.

If there were an active modding community creating game improvements that might be something.

It's a real shame too, really cute game that just needed a little balance. Really surprised it's just been ignored by the devs tbh.

It's a good game and worth a playthrough - I'd grab it next time it's on sale! I enjoyed playing it a lot and don't regret my time spent playing it. It was engrossing and felt familiar and also new, and I really enjoyed the characters. It's just really frustrating when a really good game comes SO CLOSE to absolutely nailing it and then just drops off the face of the...galaxy ;)

I felt like part of the budget was not spend on important stuff like endgame content or better combat mechanics. Instead the devs made so much decoration stuff and cooking recipes, I didn't use most of it anyway and they just didn't stop bringing up more of it.

Some ship upgrades would have been more fun, like better engines for example, traveltime is pretty boring right now. Oh, and more reasons to travel, like more planets.
