Is there a way to speed up the walk
I'm used to having a run button in these kinds of games but there doesn't seem to be one, from what I can find.

I do feel that the walk animation is a bit on the slow side.

Great game otherwise.

You’ll be able to craft a hoverboard (like the one from Back to the Future part 2) later that will be a bit faster to move around on; only works on the ship.

Walking is especially slow, but it feels like practically everything in the game is slow.
So much time spent walking, it's a big ship you have to get around, so it would be nice if walking wasn't such a chore. Great game by the looks of it, but I won't buy it, I just don't have the time to sink into it due to it being so slow. What a shame, I wanted to like it.

Yeah, I just got this game and I'm immediately turned off by how slow the walking is. The ship is already HUGE and it's like walking through syrup trying to get anywhere. I'd prefer time to move faster and the walk to be faster, if it was a balance issue.
I won't have the patience for this. I'll check back later to see if this is changed.

Yeah I don't have the patience for it either, its just sooo much time spent just walking between places, major time waste.

Thanks everyone for the notes, we're always listening and taking down everyone's feedback.

I've refunded and followed the game. If I see some patch notes where there's a faster walk, I'll consider getting it again. It looks super cute!

Great idea, I'll be doing that as well

yup imo they should add teleporters to the different decks.

But there's a lift already for moving between decks?

Probably meant to points of interest on the different decks.
More shortcuts is always better imo.

I don't really mind the walking speed, but I wish there was a quicker way off the ship instead of having to go all the way down to the shuttle every time you are off to explore the current planet. Not the most practical choice that your captain's area is almost as far away from the shuttle as it can be. lol

Speaking of which...
there's a small area on the outer hull that I can't put anything on (no, I'm not talking about outer edges). I thought that it might be meant for shuttle. though again - it's maybe just a little less walking than to the current location...

The problem I have with the hoverboard is that you have to get off it to interact with anything or anyone. So it's a giant pain to use when, say, hunting for microbes in a large area. It's barely noticeably faster than walking as well.

How about a teleport pod on the bridge to the planet or shuttle.
What about a portable teleport device for late game maybe?
