LATE GAME FRUSTRATIONS

I’m trying to finish two quest (for the 5th planet) but the spawn rate isn’t allowing me to move forward. Been hunting nano bots for over a week and have only managed to get one that wasn’t within this week.

Diamonds? Is it a monster drop ? Díggable? Who knows because monsters rarely drop anything useful and 2 months in the last planet and I’ve only managed to get TWO artifacts/gems none of which was a Diamond


Is there a floor where the nano bots are more likely to spawn?
How did you get Diamond ? Anyone know 😒

I've found Nano Bots before on the ship. They are a moderately rare "Green Spawn". They are a Tier 3, and I think the last kind of "Beneficial" microbe before the "wavy" lines start.

As for relics & gems; your best bet is Rare & Collector meteorites. I know for sure diamonds are not on the first two planets. Possibly either the 5th Planet or the 3rd Sand Planet. But don't quote me on that last line.

It sounds like you are just getting unlucky on the nanobot rolls. It's not super rare, so you should be able to find them. Upgrading your microbe tool might not have been your top priority, but the level 4 microbe tool does show you what 'color' microbes are in the scene so that helps narrow it down to just hunt for green ones. The diamond can be dug up on the Lava Lakes or dropped from the spinner bot creep . It can also come out of the meteorites, but because it is a gem, I realize this mission is slightly harder than her previous missions. Hope this was helpful.

I am having the same issue with this nanobot quest. I have a level 3 scanner with the mini game turned off and it has taken me 3 in game weeks to get only 2 of the nanobots. I'm going insane! I now have all microbes but 1 and prior to this lava planet I was getting nanobots all over the place.

thank you for reminding me you can turn the minigame off, i wouldnt have survived if i had to keep doing that XD
i went a couple in-game weeks trying to find nanobots and then all the sudden i got 3 in the space of 90 seconds
