Can pilot portraits be moddable

Like I said in the other thread this should be possible. To make it really "moddable" without a manual input I could use a fixed naming and file location like "UserPilot1MouthClosed.png" etc. and load the files from this certain location and filename if there exist any. Nice idea by the way,
