As for getting the original devs on this project, how in a million years do you think that would have happened? Practically I mean. You ♥♥♥♥ ride for what's-his-ass then ♥♥♥♥♥ a different fan got the role instead of him or a dev team that disbanded 20 years ago. What you thinking cuh?
So far, I've enjoyed this remaster and the added content on the bonus material which is more like a curiosity about what might have been, and to be honest, I did not expect them to do a very high quality AAA level of rework on this long forgotten franchise, when even Eidos, at it's time, decided to dump it in favor of Tomb Raider.
If anything, this serves to let The Legacy of Kain draw attention, and hopefully get more investment in it, and if it takes a fan taking lead of the project, then so be it. Hopefuly, we will get a satisfactory conclussion to all of this.
They seem to be doing nothing else all day.
Anyway, for those who come across this thread and want to inform themselves about the making of the remaster, there's a wonderful NoClip Documentary about it on youtube :)
Is that the one with David Hayter, Paul Eiding and Jennifer Hale lending their voices?
Haha yep!
I am going to watch it later. I am a huge Metal Gear Solid fan too, so hearing Paul Eiding voice the Elder God is just going to make my Yule season! Christmas has definitely come early this year!
