How to add the game to Nvidia app to take advantage of filters like RTX HDR ?
Hello, it's all in the title, I would like to know, if possible, how to add it please.

I think I added the "SRX.exe" luncher but that doesn't seem to be enough to take advantage of it.

Thank you in advance for the answers.

It's terribly simple. Just manually add the .exe to the Nvidia App library. It will allow you to turn on RTX HDR individually for personally added titles. However, Nvidia's recommneded optimizations suggestions have to be added to the app by Nvidia themselves. I still prefer the NVCP, but the RTX HDR feature can only be set globally there. There is also the issue with settings conflict. I have added an app to the NVCP and to the Nvidia app. If Nvida did not add support for that game's particular optimizations, then there will be two different settings files for the game...one from NVCP and one from Nvidia APP. If the particular game has support for optimizations from Nvidia, then the Nvidia APP imports the settings from NVCP Example: SRx.exe which is the main executable for SR1-2 can be added to the NVCP manually. Let's say we set v-sync there to on. When the Nvidia App is then opened, and since SR1-2 does not support Nvidia's suggestions yet, then it will pull no info from driver settings as though you never had added it in NVCP and will still display the global setting for Vsync. However, a Game like Ys IX can be manually added to the NVCP. Since it has optimization suggestions in the Nvidia app, the app imports the NVCP settings flawlessly and any and all changes can be made from either location. And Yes...I'm a boring ass dude who figures this out from boredom. You're welcome.

Edit: RTX HDR is not a filter. RTX digital vibrance which is available in the APP is a freestyle filter. RTX digital vibrance can only be activated from within the app. RTX HDR can be activated both from the App and the NVCP.

Also, remember to turn on HDR via windows and make sure windows auto HDR is off. Windows+alt+B to turn HDR off and on quickly. You have to do that or it won't activate. Also, this game has no launcher, and you should never add launchers to the app or NVCP. It's pointless.

Oh....and it does work.

Hello, thank you for your explanations which will certainly help more than one person.

I'm quite reluctant to install multiple applications for this or that functionality...
It's still quite frustrating that even just adding it doesn't work.

I wanted to use RTX HDR mainly because I think there is no equivalent in terms of rendering.

Thanks again in any case.
