got fire reaver from the flooded citadel but still wont activate :(

Guys I got the fire reaver from that flooded nightmarish level full of nigh impossible platforming. watched the cutscene with Elder God explaining what it is, got the achievement for it as well.

But when I went to that place in Raziel's Stronghold (the one you have to dive underwater and swim towards... it doesnt activate for a fire puzzle. Remember that place where you have to set alight some kind of giant forge on a statue or something? Then fire rushes inside the room and Raziel levitates and you get some circular powerup?
Online walkthroughs show an "interaction" symbol appearing there but my Raziel gets nothing.

Anyone else have that issue?

I am not sure, what exactly you mean, but you don't need the Fire Reaver to get the Glyph.
You have to solve a puzzle for the Glyph.

Hint 1: There a torches in the pool at the entrance.
Hint 2: Throw the torch over the room, towards the fire pit bevore crossing it, in the spectral realm.

By the way you can activate your Fire Reaver at any Fire Pit, you can find now. It can be ignited like a normal torch. But the fire vanishes when it comes in contact with water, you go to the spectral realm, or your Reaver disappears. Then you must reignite it.

But like I said, it is not needed for the Glyph Puzzle.

I'm actually also having this issue. The Fire Reaver won't light at any fire I've found; bonfire, fire pit, brazier, any fire. The prompt just never shows up to light it. And I definitely got the Fire Reaver, even have the achievement to prove it. I know I don't *need* it, but it's disappointing that it doesn't work.

I'm actually also having this issue. The Fire Reaver won't light at any fire I've found; bonfire, fire pit, brazier, any fire. The prompt just never shows up to light it. Sounds like you don't actually have the fire reaver if you can't light your reaver from bonfires. Go check again, maybe you didn't save after picking it up :)
