Dumah boss bug?

I lure him into the furnace and turn the gas on and pulling the switch to ignite does nothing. I check playthroughs on YouTube and I am doing it properly. Anyone else experiencing the same issue? I'm playing on my steam-deck. I have tried restarting and reloading and nothing work.

I'm aware of that from watching videos online. I managed to find someone on reddit who had the same issue playing the original on an emulator. Either it's coincidence or a rare bug.

Can confirm. Just ran into it myself.
I even came back to the room alone to see if I can start the furnace. When I turn on the gas, the fires won't come one. When the gas is off, the fires light. The boss fight can't be won because I straight up can't light the furnace, whether he's there or not.
Guess I gotta start again...

Got the same bug, I even have Dumah sitting right next to the exhaust in the center of the room, nada.

I've also got the same bug. If the gas is on the fires won't light, if the gas is off the fires light for a second then shut off. Dumah is in the center where he's supposed to be and nothing.
