I do kinda like how the Melcaiah Clan territory/Necropolis theme's combat variation was made into the boss theme, that's a bit of a loss. But overall if the PC port music was a nice slice of pizza, the PS1 music was a full pie that's only slightly less nice.

a badly looped snippet of ozar midrashim (yes it's a great piece of music) playing all over the place due to the lack of half the soundtrack isn't *better* >.>
you can say it's badly looped but it still has way more musical depth. i wouldn't necessarily mind playing through this new dynamic soundtrack version, if i got the option to switch to the original pc one as well.
yes but i dont care for quantity. quality > quantity (also nostalgia above all else - i just wanted to experience the original pc soundtrack... would be totally open to trying out this new dynamic one if it was optional)
But i get it that some ppl grew up with the pc version.
never said that. i am just confused why certain segments are using a very clearly lower quality versions. it's cool that they added the whole dynamic stuff but to sacrifice musical depth for it seems like a very odd choice
Yeah, this is all I needed to see. Entering The Necropolis and it's playing a looping "Ozar Midrashim? Yikes, this is not a hill worth dying on
