It was done on the original SR2 using the widescreen mod so I'd imagine if it isn't available by default on the remaster then a new mod will come out shortly after release

1 and 2 supports Ultrawide with MODS. Certainly a remaster will support too.

Plus the engine used on the original games was upgraded over time. I know at the very least that tomb raider legends/anniversary/underworld used the same engine but upgraded. Chances are it will have either native support or easily moddable support.

Hoping for it as well. It should be a basic feature by now, but a lot of games don't have it, because 'it's not possible'. And then a random modder makes an uw fix 9 minutes after the game is released.
