I would argue that Dead Sun was a great concept for a spin off but it was way ambitious for that era of gaming
Crash Bandicoot got a 4th game after how many years?
I know, different studio but the potential is still there and not complete off the table.
I would have played it and supported it but it got canned as it was sooo much complex than expected
Crash succeeded cuz of how nostalgically is the character to a lot of people on main stream gaming , I wouldn't say LOK has the same capacity
tho it could succeed if they target the dark fantasy concept and maybe get new players into the game
it's a risk but you need someone to take it
