VEGAS Pro Edit 21 Steam Edition

VEGAS Pro Edit 21 Steam Edition

VEGAS Pro instantly crashes when I hit "Render"...
I was trying to render a video, but like 2 to 5 seconds after I hit "Render", VEGAS Pro 21 decides to crash. How do I fix this?

Try to delete cache here:

but be careful, YOU CAN'T delete the follow archives:

folder Device Explorer Thumbnails
folder File Explorer Thumbnails
folder FX Thumbnails

persist.prefs
ProjectInterchange.settings
RenderAs.settings
RenderingDiaglog.setting

if it don't work, delete ALL .sfk archives of your projects in your computer and .bak

Have you tried disabling the video preview (in the interface section not the rendering section.)?

Is there something in the project file that you have that affects it?

No, the project file doesn't cause the rendering to crash.
Even after disabling video preview, it still crashes.

No, the project file doesn't cause the rendering to crash.
Even after disabling video preview, it still crashes.
And even after resetting all VEGAS Pro preferences to their default values, IT, STILL, CRASHES.

I decided to move this post to VEGAS Creative Software's community forums.
This thread continues here: https://www.vegascreativesoftware.info/us/forum/program-instantly-crashes-when-i-hit-render--144741/
The author of this thread has indicated that this post answers the original topic.

That worked! Finally, that pesky error's gone!
