If you go to the section for VS in your Steam library, there should be a Manual link on the right.

When you're in Focus Mode you hold Magic and press Heavy Attack. It uses the rest of your Focus Gauge, though.

Thx im playing on steamdeck now and the game doesn’t mention this in the beginning
