Checklist for 100% Run
The most up to date version of this is available in the guides section, please refer to that and post any questions etc. there. I will respond as needed.

Updated Checklist

INTRODUCTION/PRIMER

The list will give you a general idea as to where everything is and what order you can get them in. Some items can be saved for when you return to the area for a second time, but the reason I listed them as early as I did is because they make certain sections easier. For example, you can wait till end game to get the Wanderer's Rainment and Paladin Armor as you'll be going through there again, it'll save time but the armors can come in handy much sooner. Specfically the Paladin armor granting stat points and immunities to 3 status conditions.

Instances that require Arctic Javelin/Hellish Descent can also be done by Reina's beam attack, and she gets Arctic Javelin too. So everything Wyatt can get, Reina can too. Alternatively you can come back later to get it with the bolt jump but this list is made with the intention of reducing how much you have to backtrack.

If you'd like to get everything you need as soon as possible then I recommend going with a Full Luck build to start. That way you can obtain the gems and souls you need a lot more easily and save yourself some time you'd otherwise spend grinding. Once you've reached end game and obtained every item/upgrade you need, collect 2 Demon Ruby, 2 Angel Sapphire and 5 Polished Stone. Take them to Mesmer in Tagrum and purchase Forget Training. That will reset you stats and let you go into whatever build suits you most.

The order in which the items are obtained is laid out so that you can optimize your route and get pretty much every achievement related to completion in one playthrough.

*Axen can be obtained as early as your first trip to the Western Skyway from the Tagrum District. What you need to do is fall from the ledge of the room she is in, but grab the ledge and then wall jump off it, cast Arctic Javelin, then wall jump and grab the ledge. It's easily possible to mess this up and Axen's true potential isn't achieved until after Engineer's Palace anyway. If you choose to do this, you will obtain chest 75 much sooner, so you should check it off right then.

SAVING CIVILIANS

*Before entering Ishk, defeat the Yeti.
*After clearing the Guardian Temple, return to the Chief in Tagrum.
*Before getting the Divine Key, talk to Schultze in Ishk. Then take the tram and talk to Claudia in Hrukk. Cast Thunder Struck (Down-Lightning) and return to Schultze in Ishk.

OPTIONAL BOSS FIGHTS

Yeti: If not defeated before entering Ishk, the Yeti will be in the Execution Hall (I think) and will have killed everyone there.

Raven: If not defeated in the Central Skyway by obtaining the Broken Doll, the Raven will be in the Forgotten Gardens.

Magus: In the Western Skyway, must be defeated before defeating Treu, otherwise she'll go away/be killed by FERAL MANAWAR

Dhistahn: Optional to beat, he's on the way to Ishk through the sewers.

Soul Rage Azudor: If you let DHISTAHN live, he will join in on the fight with Azudor in the Mana Crystal Mines. When you defeat either of them Azudor will enter Soul Rage.

Feral Manawar: In the same place as you fought Magus. Appears after defeating Treu.

Eye of Myrgato: Located in the pit. Get there by taking the bottom exit from Ishk and going down instead of to the right. Requires Black Hole.

Eye of Alagath: Located two room after you find Edgar. Is in an area where you constantly take damage from Cold.

ENEMIES & DROPS

Angel Sapphire: Can be obtained by Kill Angel Zealots

Greater Angel Spirit: Can be obtained by killing Thunder Zealots, Angel Soul Rangers & Angel Templars. Angel enemies with green auras will also drop these.

Saint's Opal: Can be obtained by killing Angel Templars & Angel Soul Rangers.

Demon Ruby: Can be obtained by killing Demon Archers & Demon Ogres.

Black Heart Stone: Can be obtained by killing Demon Warlocks.

Devil's Onyx: Can be obtained by killing Demon Mistresses & Demon Warlocks.

Greater Demon Spirit: Can be obtained by killing Demon Warlocks, Demon Mistresses & Demon Ogres.

Polished Stone: Can be obtained from most if not all enemies.

Greater Feral Spirit: Can be obtained from all Feral enemies except Feral Hermits.

Large Emerald: Can be obtained by killing Feral Reapers & Feral Puffers (not recommended).

FARMING LOCATIONS

Demon Mistress: located in the room with Rinn Speras [Abandoned Gardens]

Demon Warlock: right outside the save room [Guardian Temple]

Angel Soul Ranger: right outside the save room [Engineer's Palace]

Feral Reaper (Poison): right outside Execution Hall [Sunken Prison]

Feral Siren (Poison): right outside Execution Hall [Sunken Prison]

PERSONAL RECOMMENDATIONS/ADVICE

I recommend waiting till after the Guardian Temple and (if possible) the Mana Crystal Mines before facing Magus, you'll save yourself time during the fight by having more of a damage output. Save the Eyes and Feral Manawar for endgame. You'll likely be at a high enough level by then that you'll wipe the floor with them. Just don't kill too many demons/angels and you should be fine against the eyes.

The locations are very vague, however Sprsclr was awesome enough to actually make a map that corresponds with this checklist so if you need to, you can look at that for reference. That said after you've done this a few times the locations more or less get ingrained in your mind.

VIDEO WALKTHROUGH

Walkthrough Playlist

That is a video walkthrough I made prior to 1/15/2014. It's still applicable for the most part but a few bosses and item locations have been changed. Ziggurat has recieved the most significant change with 3 new items added and the location of one of them being moved. The changes have been noted on the list.

FINAL NOTES
By following this guide you can obtain approximately 56 of the currently available 62 achievements in one run of the game. The remaining ones being:

Beat the game as the other character*
Beat the game as the other character on God Slayer difficulty or higher*
Beat the game on Goibniu mode
Beat the game without saving
Beat the game without upgrading/changing equipment
Retry 40 times*

If you decide to play the game on Goibniu mode and don't use the shrines (I don't know if it counts) and manage to somehow beat the game without upgrading your equipment, you can also get the achievements not marked by the *. Do I recommend it? Hell no. Is it possible? Certainly.

CREDITS

Herablacious: The tip on how to get Axen earlier. Location for farming Feral Reaper & Feral Siren. Confirmation on Yeti & Raven locations if not fought earlier.

Myhr2: Alternative locations for Soul Ranger, Demon Mistress & Demon Warlock.

Super Nintendan: Confirmation on event that causes Magus to disappear/Manawar to take over.

Major credit to Sprsclr for taking the time out to make the maps

Nice list! I prefer fighting Magus before going to fight the Raven, but that's just me. Around level 9-10. That darkness ball spell you get with Wyatt makes it really easy when combined with the air darkness spell. Even if its rank1. Attack the crystal first. Then use the side darkness spell, then air darkness spell, then quickly run in and melee her a bunch so she doesn't steal your spell power. Little tricker with Reina and involves jumping over her while she blocks a bunch unless you have the guard-break kick feat makes it a lot easier.

My last char had no points in Luck so farming was necessary for parts of the game. Helped a lot when I got the Gambler Rags.

Places to farm stuff the 1st guy in Ziggurat drops Greater Demon Souls, Black Gem, Spirit Gem, and Silk Cloth, the 1st guys in the Engineer Palace the golden Angel guy and the one that can skill cancel and shoot ice blasts, they drop all kinds of goodies as well. For the saphires I usually went out the southeast entrance of Tagrum and there are 2 zealots in a room just keep going back n forth there, and in the Gardens where you get the Lordless Tear, in the 2nd room is a Demon with the ball n chain. That guy drops greater souls and demon ruby's. Keep going east thru the skeletal door at the top there's a witch there that drops stuff too and is by herself so easy to farm. Right outside the Sunken Prison are some ferals that are easy to farm if you need feral soul gems or spirit gems.

Yeah the whole Magus thing really depends on how you play, she can either be one of the easiest bosses in the game or one of the hardest. Reason I suggested she be fought as late as possible is because on God Slayer she becomes incredibly stall heavy with the recovery from the crystal and three angels. Same reason I suggested a luck build, you get a balanced array of stats and the drop rates go way up so you can grab pretty much everything you need a long the way and minimize grinding time.

The list was made in the mindset of getting all of godslayer difficulty (and below) achievements, beating the game in 3 hours or less achievement, as well as getting 2+ of the stat based achievements and Brizhal etc. in one run of the game.

I'll add your suggestions to the list and credit you for them.
Herbalacious Jan 19, 2014 @ 12:45pm
I only play on GodSlayer :) But 3 hrs! Wow..yea I finished godslayer with both chars S ranks, but not anywhere near the 3 hour mark. More like 6-7 hours
TKhaos Jan 19, 2014 @ 12:47pm
Ideally you'll save enough time by not grinding or backtracking that you'll be around the 2:47 minutes mark when you beat the game. The Anemone battles though, could potentially throw a wrench into the plan depending on how good or bad your run goes.

Great list, great post! It's very helpfull.

As for some farming spots, here are mine :
- for Demon Mistress, the ones in the corridor where you recruit Rinn Speras, you can quickly exit and re-enter to make it repop.
- for Demon Warlock, the one in the room just after the Save room in Guardian Temple.
- for Soul Ranger, the one just near the Save Room in Engineer's Palace.

Thanks xD Took a lot of work/time to put it together so I'm glad you think it's helpful! I added your recommendations, and you are now in the credits.

If you're playing as Wyatt you can get Axen early too buy hanging off the ledge, fall but wall jump real quick and cast a spell like dark air or ice air to get some hangtime and you can grab the ledge and get her really early in the game. I think she was my 2nd or 3rd crew member found on my last run before the Shadowboxer or after I can't remember but really close. Can't do it with Reina, but I didn't try more than a couple times heh.
TKhaos Jan 19, 2014 @ 1:51pm
Added that tip and credited you for it. Also spruced up the design of the guide. Hopefully people get some use out of this.

-Added in how to save all the civilians and a list of optional boss fights.

If anyone knows when Magus vanishes & Manawar appears as well as where Yeti & Raven go if not fought sooner, please let me know. I'm not 100% sure on these things as I never really dealt with them.

You're correct on Yeti and Raven. I don't know about the Manawar taking over Magus fight tho
Super Nintendan Jan 19, 2014 @ 5:20pm
I think Manawar takes over after you defeat Tru, because that's when the feral take over the skyway. I fought it before getting the Divine Key.

Thank you for the confirmation. Added that contribution to the credits. The list has been spruced up a bit more to be easier to read.

This is great! You might want to consider putting it in the Guides section when you have it finalized. So it doesn't get lost in the forum threads.

What did you mean by: "Just don't kill too many demons/angels and you should be fine against the eyes."?
Do they get stronger if you kill more demons/angels (myrgato/alagath respectively)? TIL...

Yes, both get stronger with the more demon and angels you kill respectively. I think it's only def. that is raised, but that's only what I've read on these forums. I also 2nd making this into some kind of guide. Would be a great help for newer players.
TKhaos Jan 20, 2014 @ 1:23pm
It's not complete (needs a map/screenshots) but I've published it in guide form.
