[Spoiler] Raven fight.
So, finally, new characters are here! I went back to the game and selected veteran difficulty beause I haven't been playing for a while. Not to mention I'll have to play as an unfamiliar to me character and I didn't know what to expect.
First thing I noticed - game's difficulty ramped up noticeably. Enemies have new movies and deal much more damage than before. For me - that is a good thing, I like the challenge this game provides.

But here's the thing... I bought a teddy bear thinking I will be able to handle Raven after I finished Guardian's Temple and got a fire soul. And then I saved my game.
Gosh, was I mistaken! The first time I came to him, Raven killed me in a single hit. I knew he was a hard boss, but let me tell you - that day he turned my butt into formless mess.

I really wanted to get to the Library at this point because I needed to upgrade my magic and get new stuff. But Raven was blocking the way now and nothing I could do about it but try and beat him.
I did beat him in the end, after an hour of trying.

Here you can see he hit me for almost all my hitpoints when I missed a dodge.

But unfortunatelly my best attempt was resulted in A rank on a bossfight. And I was going for S rank on all bosses for this playthrought. Now I'm unable to do so.

I'm not complaining or anything, but I would like to suggest that maybe you should give players who bought the teddy bear and came to Raven's place a choise to either summon him now or move along. I was not ready for this fight, as it turns out. I was underleveled.

I see that you're playing Gilda with 3 SC. So, at this point of the game, you should have a decent chunck of afflication chance since you S ranked Temple boss. Just take Arctic Javelin with the Soul of the Frozen One and spam it on the boss. Got S/S/S with Can't Touch This.

The thing is - it seems like level 10 is not enough to encounter this boss. I was dealing so little damage to it! The fire soul seemed like dealing the most damage so I stick with it during the fight.
If had an opportunity to get to the library and upgrade my magic and grab the jester's watch, the fight would be much easier. I just didn't thought Raven will be THAT strong. I mean... I knew he's strong, but damn...

My mistake was saving the game after I bought the teddy bear. So I HAD to fight Raven to get to the library.
That's why I suggested that maybe there should be a choise to either summon him or keep going.

P.S. I forgot to mention that "Can't Touch This" tactics didn't worked for me because it makes Raven more unpredictable. And since he can literally kill me in 1 good hit with his poison attack, I decided to stick with playing around his pattern rather than relying on a chance.

I just S/S/S Raghano on first try with Gilda, level 16, using only arctic javelin the whole fight. Consider upgrading it to at last level 2, so that the "shrapnel effect" procs more ofter and you have more chance to freeze them. Better luck next time for you, I guess ? Also, know that if you get the void Soul, you can avoid the Raven by using Heavy magic. Or if you have the divine key, going throw the sewers or tainted laboratory.

Btw, you look good on the video :o Not much you can do to improve that. Gilda power comes from scaling with upgrades, so don't expect to do better sadly.

Thanks. Yeah, I also thought that it would be pointless trying to get better result at this point.

Well, I have to say the the increase in their damage doesn't sound like that much of a deal to me (I'm playing with Reina anyway so getting hit by Raven poison once had always left me at 20% or less health if I even survived), but yes, I did notice that the bosses seemed to have a bit more health than they had before.

Which might be an illusion or might not be, but that's how it feels for now. Might have been because of the level difference (level 4 as opposed to 5 for Azudor, 6 as opposed to 7 for Yeti, and 8 as opposed to 9 for Ruckjahl), so for now it's a “maybe”.

Though I won't test it any more until the next update, because getting a crash once (when entering a new area, not during a boss fight or anything) made me not want to risk it until then.

That being said, the damage you are dealing in the video is kind of ... low. I don't know if that's something that's unavoidable with Gilda or if it's merely a matter of build, but yeah, that's that.
