I'd say that knowing how to farm levels on the ogre before 1st boss and on the feral puffers in the fisherman mini-quest are the most important info and it's hard to explain that with words only. Isn't there any sort of site to bypass the youtube block (or allow you to download youtube videos) or use a proxy ? Can you watch twitch videos from past streamings ?
Reina - full agi, full left skill tree
Gilda - full int, "full" right skill tree
Vladyn - not 100% sure but probably full agi, full left skill tree
Wyatt - 15 to 20 str (after stats bonus), half left tree and go for Reaver (level 15 tier) on the right skill tree.
Thanks! For Wyatt, you mean 15 to 20 Str rest agi? How is bleeding good when the two strongest bosses are immune to it?
You can access youtube with a VPN but I doubt anybody would like to spend hours watching a video load. Same for twitch, although twitch is acceptable and you don't need a VPN. I do not know any streamer's name though, all the ones I have found have Goibniu mode runs that are months or years old.
Gilda http://www.twitch.tv/hanabito/v/11961560
You have to go under 2147483648 points otherwise it'll glitch out and go negative, so your points won't register.

For Alagath, you do a combo, wait a bit for her to put up her guard, double jump (or Golden Raid for Reina if you don't have double jump) to go to her back, combo and repeat. That way you stunlock her for at least the majority of the fight.
For Myrgato you can keep changing from ground attacks to aerial attacks and using SC when she is near the wall to push her the other way, that way you can do a really extended combo. Works for Wyatt and Reina. Not sure about the other 2.
For Leilodin see both twitch videos for those characters. For Wyatt just go invisible and poison her with the bow poison bubble and wait, don't spread that info on other threads, lol, not sure if it works on her 2nd form / 3rd phase but that part isn't annoying, so it doesn't really matter. For Vladyn probably just spam the ice rifle from far away.
In general, you want:
Fighter's Bandages and all cities Health Charms for Reina
Ice 2, maybe Fire 2, Priest Tome and farm level 15 on Feral Puffers for Gilda
Weighted Bracelets and farm level 15 on Feral Puffers for Wyatt
Level 5 on every characters before first boss to make triple S on the first 5 bosses or so easier.
Feral Puffer combos for XP:
As Reina, use the atk speed buff spell, double jump, kick, and repeat. During the rotation insert SC from air + dash through puffer for extra multipliers.
As Gilda, double jump and use aerial poison spell. During the rotation, insert SC from air + dash through puffer for extra multipliers.
As Wyatt, start with poison bubble, double jump, ice spell and arrow attack, repeat everything except poison bubble. Somewhere between, insert SC from air, dash near the puffer and hit him with a poison bubble for more XP multiplier. You can consistently get 5x or more multiplier
You may want to level a bit more or avoiding to spend stats and skill points so your damage isn't low to not waste that much mana and at the same time not too high so you can't build a high multiplier before killing him.
Two parts confuse me though:
1. Is the fighter's bandages this early. I assume they don't cost coins in Goibniu mode?
2. Why do you mention Yama Dee?
Sorry, I know nothing about Goibniu mode yet :P
Going to watch the videos soon.
2. It's just a reminder so i wouldn't forget, just like talking to the mana core guy and saving the cities. You get points for saving crew members / cities and he is on a room you go through, but it's easy to forget because he is "hidden".
Can you get two coins this early with some of the other chars too?
Anyway, gonna do a Goibniu playthrough for the achievement, so optimal strats aren't that important, but I would still like to try the current route.
Did I understand it right that is Purgatory with 15-20 strength and the rest agi, bleeding build? That means Murderous Raiment as well or is Goibniu better with the strength buff? Or is it some bow build?
Thanks!
I've tested strenght with default sword and agility with the bow, both without the bracers, and the strenght with sword is overall better, although in some fights they're pretty similar in DPS. Assuming you go farm for level 15 after Fire Temple, you will probably want to use the bow for the poison with double damage on every boss after that (Gernot, Treu, Alagath, maybe Anemone and True Anemone, don't think Magus has a high enough HP to be worth at level 15 + bracers). You can also keep switching between bow for poison only and sword if you want to go full tryhard.
With 15 or 20 strenght and rest on agi + bracers the only fight you will have subpar damage is against Myrgato. The poison arrows upgrade is probably really effective for Anemone + True Anemone, but i didn't try that out.
If you want, i can make a video on twitch on Myrgato and maybe Ragano. On top of my head these are the only fights that can be tricky, i don't think i do anything different than you would at the other bosses.
One trick that i've seen from a Goibniu video on youtube is using air spell to reset your air attacks so you can do double arrow attacks with 1 jump (4 with the double jump), but i only found it really useful against Tagu. Maybe it works well against Alagath now that i think about it.
Outside of boss fights, there is the room before Shu'Goth, which is pure cancer as Wyatt and Reina, i can try to see an effective approach to it. Superior Mana Crystal is really convenient and i'd recommend, mainly for the perfect guard. No need to buy the anti-fire elixir, only the anti-cold and anti-poison ones. Not sure if you can do Shu'Goth + Farm on puffers + Azudor 2 + Ragano (kill him way earlier than my Reina route) with one elixir, but would be good if you could because farming for mana crystal shards (ingredient for elixir) can make you lose some minutes, then again farming for the small feral soul for the weighted bracers may give you some spare ingredients for a 2nd poison elixir.
Wish i could help more with Wyatt, was messing with him, but for a few reasons i've ended up not doing a proper route and Goibniu run for him.
That means I should mainly rely on the sword until I get the double affliction damage upgrade, correct? Except for Tagu and maybe some other bosses.
And yes, a Twitch video for those bosses would be much appreciated. Myrgato is not immune to bleed though, right? Why is she hard? I remember that in my first casual playthrough on Godslayer I had less trouble with her than Alagath and I was using the build you suggested, agi with some strength. I am also still interested in a video of how to manipulate Leilodin with Wyatt (with Purgatory, no abusing the bow in any way I mean). I know there are plenty of videos of it on Youtube but well... you know :P
So is it a good idea to only add strength until 15-20 and only start with agi after? or should I level up agi earlier?
Also, how many weapon upgrades should I aim for?
She is immune to bleed. The problem with her is that you won't have level 4 weapon, level 3 armor or the entire physical skill tree, so your damage is kinda weak and optimally you can do about 50% of her HP within the focus duration, so if things go bad you'll have to deal with a low health Myrgato which can take a pot off you and tank your rank (points).
Fighting Leilodin without poison or fire 3 takes a really long time, don't think you can even get S in time unless you want to risk going low hp with goibniu armor. Plus abusing the AI isn't really different than cheesing with poison, lol, but i'll do that.
I wouldn't fight Leilodin normally in Goibniu mode obviously, I'm just curious.
Same for the other bosses, I have myself found ways to beat all of them up to Distahn with SSS consistently, although I doubt they are the best ones. And for Distahn I am still clueless. I know he can*t be reliably SSS ranked because he is too random, but I don't think my approach is the best. Probably there are videos with way better strats somewhere which I sadly cannot access.
Here is what I have so far, maybe you can help:
1. I use the Light magic buff for every boss.
2. My skills so far are, in this order:
Left skill tree: Grip, Tenacity, Tactical Strikes, Master Focus, Combo Expert
Right Skill Tree: Wisdom, Dark Heart
Ogre (I know it's not a boss): I am using dash through him, three light attacks, lifter, air heavy, dash through him, side Dark magic, light, light, light, heavy. It gives me 5x Exp. Is there something better?
Azudor: Heavy spam, when he goes up do three light jump attacks, finish with a ground heavy on the platform. Kill the left archer when she spawns. When the last batch of enemies spawns, use Focus, dash past the right assassin, jump up behind the two right archers, knock off Azudor with a heavy and kill him with the Finisher on the ground.
Tagu: Dark magic air and ground with light sword attacks to break the shield, then heavy spam with some side Dark to damage the core.
Ruckjahl: Four heavy attacks + air Dark, retreat to activate mana heater, walljump up his face to destroy the top crystal, fall down again and retreat to the left side waiting for his attacks, then repeat. I use air heavy from below his head to damage him.
Shu Goht: Frost Blade, four heavy attacks, dash through him, another four heavy attacks, then jump up and try for light air atacks + one heavy at the end (only works sometimes.) Later hit him in the one position he doesn't skip, then wait on the top platform to interrupt him.
Yeti: I have no idea. Usually just a heavy spam and dashing behind it when SC is up, with some light and heavy air attacks mixed in if I need it.
Distahn: Very bad. Four heavy attacks, jump heavy followed by skill cancel down and through him, then three more heavies from behind. Sometimes I replace the three heavies from behind with side Dark magic and 1-2 heavies to raise rank. Kill the first big angel with Focus.
I get SAS or ASS with this about 90% of the time but it still feels pretty useless and I only get SSS about 70% of the time, probably less. I know that's a normal ratio but I'm sure there is a better way to deal with him regardless.
An overall problem with this is that I do not know when you would normally have a focus finisher ready in a Goibniu run.

Here is some videos i've done so far, i tried streaming yesterday but Twitch chopped everything and just some bits of what i've played were registered, so i'll do this way instead. Can upload on another videos site besides youtube if you want. Forgot to put on the videos, but you can use the sword light attack on the ice area to go way faster than walking and skill cancelling. Use the 1st light attack and then wait a tiny bit for the combo counter to reset and do it again.
EDIT: I've edited the 3rd post to be what is the Wyatt route i'd use.
You have to decide what situations you'll really need the Focus and do a test run of it so you can have a general ideia on where it'll be recharged if you use at place X or Y, then on the real run you just farm a bit more to recharge the Focus. If there is two points where you think it's important to use Focus, then you'll have to pick the most important and simply deal with it on the other.
For Tagu, dark air spell costs too much MP for the blue bar damage it causes, i'd recommend either whisps for 2 aerial arrow attacks or side dark spell. I don't think you want to spend a mana potion on her, better save for more important places. For Distan, you can reset your combo like i did to do more damage before he vanishes (apparently also works on Shu'Goth, but i never tested it that much).
