Help with where to go?

I've just started getting characters into the library. The last boss I beat was in the garden, and I seem to be missing several keys that open up new areas. Is there something I'm supposed to do in the library, or do I have something left to do in the garden? I wish there were coherent guides to this game! Every guide is like, go from point A to B but nothing explains where to go from rooms. I'm stuck!

You need to reach Ishk, the third town, and you have the choice between two paths :
- the Sewers. They can be accessed from Tagrum, the first City. It's the western exit just above the save statue. You can now access it by using the Ice Pillar spell to climb to the ledge to the west.
- the Western Skyway. It can be accessed by returning where you fought the first Boss, Azudor. You'll face a new boss, the Yeti. Defeat it, keep going toward the beginning of the game, and you'll soon encounter a Skeleton door that you can now open with the Skeleton key you got in the Garden.

Keep in mind that while you can ignore either one of these two areas, it might still be worth exploring both at this stage of the game.

Hey, thank you. I am stupid, and I went *everywhere* i had access to, 3 or 4 times, before I visited the tram. I was able to go to Tagrum! This game is amazing, I slept on it for years and I'm really having a blast now.

oh, I didn't thought you could have missed the tram. Glad you're enjoying it, it's among my favorite games of all time. It's not for the faint of hearth, to be sure. If you have any other question, feel free to ask, I'll try to help as much as I can.
