No 1080p love?
So sad that they didn't start at least at 1080p for this game, window is so tiny on my screen and fullscreen is so pixilated. Any chances of a patch?

Redrawing all of the art assets to be higher resolution? No, there really is no chance of that happening, and really this game was a huge step up compared to Magical Diary and some of their other games.

Why didn't they start at 1080p, I mean sheesh this is 2013. Oh well, should be a warning somewhere on the main page.

Yea I won't buy it due to this, looks decent, but if they can't spend the time to make it work right on modern computers, I can't spend the money, sorry.

Indeed, I thought exactly the same. Good work deserves good money. I gave this game a try and it certainly is not bad with some genuinely good ideas but not worth five dollars as it is now.

Sorry, in development (which was not in 2013!) we were aiming at having the game be playable on as many computers as possible, and since the processor needs are quite low we wanted to cover netbooks in that range of possibilities. That's why that resolution was chosen.

After all, two years ago I had no way to imagine that this would someday end up on Steam and with a rather different standard hardware audience!

LOL. I played this in windowed mode with no problem... you people are just such crybabies

You can always tell when you're talking to someone on Steam, because the value of a dollar is so ridiculously high here. It's like if you don't get eight games all at once, spending more than 3 dollars is just out of the question. This game is worth 3 times more than what's being currently charged for it, easy, and the art assets look absolutely great in 720p- asking for more than that is asking them to go above-and-beyond most AAA visual novels on the market (a great majority of which start at 39.99, not 9.99).

Art is expensive, and everyone being unwilling to pay full price for a good game that's already priced so low by default is a perfect example of why games like this can't afford to do multiple-resolution art assets and instead have to rely on scaling.

I can't think of a single VN that has been illustrated with 1080p in mind. What makes you think this one would be different?

That doesn't really make sense.

Don't expect any 'sense' from certain people.

Says the guy that thinks a game with dozens of hours of potential playtime isn't worth five dollars because he has to *gasp* play it in a window.

I swear, the self-entitlement of gamers these days...

Thank you for your reply, I highly value it and fully understand the choice you made now, was making sure there weren't some clever modders out there. :) Just bought the game and really loving it, already died by arrows! >.< Will certainly buy the next one too and I'm sure we will all be able to appreciate the artwork even more then too!
