Playing this game expecting it to be just like Princess Maker generally leads to an unhappy outcome. So I don't want to say "yes, like that" because if you just pick skills to study at random, your princess will almost certainly die. There are many, many different ways to win, but there are far more ways to lose.
In the larger sense, the game ends when either you are crowned queen, you are killed, or you are deposed / step down somehow. So there's no 'run off to become a bard' type endings.
However, if you survive to be crowned Queen, there are many different possible outcomes for your character, your country, and all the other characters you've interacted with, based on the skills you've trained and the choices you've made to get there. Successful Queen endings can still turn out very differently from each other. So in that sense yes there are lots of different endings.
Hope this helps answer the question!
These are just a couple of the questions the epilogue will answer based on choices you've made.
