Like, people can use custom avatars, right? Does that means lewd avatars are included? Like, nude body with genitals and stuff? I would feel very awkward playing such game, and probably wouldn't spend my time playing it with people around (IRL), or ever.
And another thing that makes me question, is regarding a review.
A guy said that a programmer got his head and was juggling around with it. Beside I don't know if that's authentic, and also found that funny, it also makes me wonder:
Does that means anyone with knowledge can do anything they want with other people?
Including things that could be abusive?
For now, the moderation tools are limited to "Giving users permissions in a world". If you join an instance, by default people have zero permissions to grab, edit, and generally do destructive things. The owner of that instance gets to say who does what.
If you want safety, host your own instances and only allow who you want, and revoke permissions as soon as they do something stupid.
Oh, and you can discard a session's changes if someone bucks up your stuff
I might check out the game later then to see about that, then.
If the community isn't "evil", then might be a good virtual space to play around, as long as nobody do something odd. Beside, I'm more into games, so I can see if there's something fun to play around with there.
Rule one of sessions: Make sure users give consent to actions done to their avatar.
In general none will just edit your avatar, even if you can just ask them to stop.
If the other party does still not follow up to this request, you can file a ticket to moderation through https://moderation.resonite.com
As for NSFW:
NSFW is not allowed in public accessible area's/sessions. Being visible or even Hidden on avatars.
Doing to is a violation of the Guidelines and will result to penalties.
So no, you have not much to worry about to give this game a try ^_^
That made me have less chills about the game.
And time for me to try it.
