Syncing is SO GLITCHY
Don't add then immediately delete things too quickly because you'll wind up like me staring at this "Sync Error Please check the log" message.

First time I had this message started when Resonite used the last 18GB on my OS SSD... Had no idea it's using mostly my storage space to save and transfer things instead of the cloud... So I increased the available drive space and now the Resonite Cache folder has a good 280GB to use at it sees fit. THAT is what solved my first Sync Error as afterwards everything went back to normal syncing as usual...

NOW the message is back...
It's been a week now with that red sync error message & everything runs like it's barely functional just waiting for me to fix it somehow and I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT IS WRONG WITH IT. It has more than enough drive space to do what it wants. It's more like the Resonite servers need performance upgrades and better internet more than anything. 15 minutes to sync 6 things on exit. SMALL THINGS! Less than 1MB things. It makes no sense.

That sync feature needs automated messages that explain exactly what is wrong.

There are a few ways syncing can error out:
1) There's a conflict with the cloud (cloud says ADDY but your system says ABBY)
2) Your system is out of space (this is done with the cache, which caches... everything). This CAN be changed if you have an alternative drive you prefer for cache storage.
3) The sync is simply stuck. This usually doesn't make an error, but if it does, it'll either fail due to running out of cloud storage or simply because the system is overloaded (Too Many Requests).

I highly suggest taking a look at the log files to see what the sync failure is. It'll usually say "failed sync," "unsynced record," etc. The servers were upgraded not that long ago, and I've synced GBs of data with no issues, so something else is going on.

I'd suggest raising a support ticket here: https://support.resonite.com/login.php

I deleted my Default Home at one point attempting to save space before I signed up for the 100G Patreon.. I had fixed this issue already and I have a custom version of the default home that loads as my home whenever I log in. If I set no home then there is a non-functional version of the default home that loads instead as the default home. I'll open a ticket about it. Seems to still be looking for the Default Home I deleted.

This is the only "faild sync" result.

Yep tried to send a ticket but just sits there... Loading... Let it sit for an hour. Nothing.

*Apparently the ticket actually went through.

Conflicts cannot be automatically solved. They can only be resolved with a command line argument.

There's more info about it on the older NeosVR wiki: https://wiki.neosvr.com/Sync_Conflict

That said, if you did submit a ticket, I'd wait for their take on the matter.

Yep. Support has given two commands to me to try. The first did solve my issue until I restarted without it. The second actually brought back several worlds that the first command deleted... So now it's a temporary fix loop. Either I use the first command and lose the worlds OR I live with the sync error. :skull_happy:

-DeleteUnsyncedCloudRecords will delete any local(to your computer) un-synced files/items from your computer and re-download the cloud copies. Only use this command if you are certain you will not lose important files/items when they are deleted from your computer.

-ForceSyncConflictingCloudRecords will force the conflicting local files/items to be uploaded to the cloud. This will overwrite the existing cloud files/items with your local copies. This can overwrite your cloud data with an earlier/incorrect version, so use it carefully
