I have a veric pic or pun ready at a moment's notice.
(Also, I really wish we could just let old games die peacefully without bringing it up in other games. As a developer myself, I'm sure the Devs of Sins would really appreciate it if we wouldn't bring it up on their pages / in their game. I have vowed to not talk about that game any longer on stream to allow it to R.I.P. -- Lets move on from it and enjoy this game to the fullest.)

To be fair to the good intentions of the dev that started this thread, isn't it kind of counterintuitive to post the name of the game that you don't want anyone posting about? I'm not trying to be a gadfly here or anything, but I've seen firsthand just how powerful the Streisand effect can be, and I think the same sort of logic essentially applies here.
Personally speaking, I actually think it's really genuine of IC to explicitly name the game a lot of this newer wave of streamers moved over here from because the contributions of the Waystone community are now permanently engraved within the annals of SoaDA history...but perhaps that's just me =P
I totally agree with you and will edit my post accordingly. My post was a blanket statement and wasn't towards the devs at all. Everytime I log in game, everytime I join a soada stream, everytime i see something posted on twitter with soada tagged.. its all about that game and where the gamers are coming from. Which in itself is great, I'm glad they're finally finding a home.. but let the game go already. Stop comparing this to that, etc. This game is fantastic in it's own right and doesn't need a former game shoved in its mouth daily to show what they should be doing. They're already doing everything perfectly from what I can see.
In closure, I love Sins of a Dark Age and am looking forward to seeing what comes next within the game. :)
I agree that it may be a bit detrimental to Sins for people to be discussing Dawngate in its stead, but keep in mind that much of the conversation surrounding that particular game is only going on right now, in the post-holiday wake of the title's dissolution. As with any "big" news in gaming, the story circulates for a good while (and will do so a bit longer in Sins circles specifically, for obvious reasons) before fading out eventually. Also, the old adage of "no publicity is bad publicity" is keenly relevant with Sins's current phase of development, because it adds the inflation of playerbase we were starting to need recently (and the devs have been addressing in the past few weeks consequently.)
Finally, I think that once the people "baited" into playing Sins by all the Dawngate talk start to see what's in store for them, as you said above, they'll be so happy by what's here that they'll most likely forget whatever it was they enjoyed there.
Thanks for the chat, though, and happy streaming ;D
Here's to seeing you in game sometime. *cheers* <3
Can't play these days got finals and this cold is killing me, i get fever very easily these days i am weak like that :(,
Still the day finals are over will be celebrating playing soada. :)
P.S: i wish i could stream but failed horribly as i don't have enough bandwidth (4mega bit download & 1 mega bit upload) or the latency do it properly, otherwise i would be streaming every game i play.
The developers have reached out to Twitch streamers as part of a giveaway promotion. Your best bet would be to watch any of the current streamers here[www.twitch.tv] and ask about a key. Be sure to give them a follow to support them as well if you could!
