[LINUX] Music glitches

After a while playing a level, the music starts to glitch: it either mutes or starts to "click" repeatedly. Sound effects and gameplay is unaffected. Exiting the current level back to main menu seems to fix it, but it's annoying as it can happen anytime during a level.


Is this a known issue? Has any other Linux player experienced it?

It happens to me as well (Linux Mint 17). I have a Creative X-FI dedicated sound card, which may be an unusual piece of hardware, but this is the only game for which this problem occurs.

Did you ever find a solution to this? I can't tell if it's a problem with the game or with PulseAudio, but I'm on Ubuntu 18.04 and it's still an issue here.
