Yeah, they will exist, but with your help, we can exterminate them. Please post your bug reports here, and whenever possible, include a detailed description. If it makes sense to include, video is also incredibly helpful -- when the devs can see the behavior in question, it skips a lot of steps.

Holy guacamole, the bugs
First, I tried to revive a party member, only to realize I didn't have enough gold. I backed out, and my party reset to the default characters (all healed, but also my customs were all gone)

Then I was in the maze, got into a fight, and after the battle the camera seemed to freak out as I was forced to shoot around a random path (through walls, even) at absurdly high speed before being dumped at the start of the dungeon.

Then I went back to town and got the introduction text again

I know it's early access but an hour of playing literally evaporated in front of me.

Yea, I'm more of a "keeping my save, not having a seizure" kinda guy.

This is the sequence that plays when you run from combat. If you didn't choose the run option from the battle menu then it was somehow triggered some other way.

Last character doesn't attack?
For some reason I can't discern, when one of my 3 front line characters is set to attack, and they end up last in the order, it just pauses, and then they don't attack, then the game moves on.

I didn't see anything about their target being dead in the logs?

crash on opening chests
when my thief detects the type of trap and goes to disarm it, there is a relatively high probability the game will go into soft lock. You can still access the menus and so on, but it just sits there after you've selected the trap type and never does anything else.

update: seems close to 100% on untrapped chests and stunner chests if I disarm them with my thief. I moved thief around in slots didn't seem to matter. If I just open the chest and suffer the effects it doesn't soft lock.

note my thief is in my front line in the #3 slot. it doesn't seem to matter what kind of chest it is.

A couple things I've noticed so far, two a nitpick, two actual bugs (if relatively minor):

1) You can "back door" identify items by trying to sell them to Boltac's - the sell message will reveal what they actually are. (This isn't necessarily a huge deal since a fair chunk of items in Wiz 1 can be "price-identified" by a savvy player, but.)
2) Sometimes, when opening a trapless chest, I have to give the command to open it twice before it actually gives me the contents.

The nitpicks:
1) Strictly speaking, going from the original source material (Roe Adams' 1982 article in Softline Magazine) on the Softalk All-Stars (the pregenerated party), Sezmar and Sarah should be humans, Hawkwind and Tuck should be elves, Prospero should be a halfling, and Moradin should be a gnome. :)
2) Shouldn't it be "MAPIRO MAHAMA DIROMAT"?

My party was reset twice while rolling new characters, so I can confirm this bug is an issue.

I was using an Xbox One Pro Controller at the time but also using Left Ctrl to reroll my character attributes if that information should matter at all.

Another bug to report: when I cast MONTINO on a group of monsters, the combat log doesn't scroll down properly.
