Where are the keys
Where does one find the gold key? Or silver key? I feel I have wandered everywhere on the upper levels but I still can't open this on level 4 or the boar door/silver door on level 2. I do have a frog statue I got from behind the bronze door know not what to do with? all guides on here point to how to level up, but no help on how to navigate, especailly when I think I have been everywhere?

There are 2 keys to get on level 1:13E 3N and 13E 18N. There are 3 keys on level 2: 4E 16N, 9E 18N, and 12E 4N. Do you have all of those? I use the term 'key' loosely as some are items that act as keys. Level 4 has a key item, but you must acquire one of the others first. Apologies if I'm being to vague for you, but I don't want to spoil anything.

Thanks! In the end I relented and looked up a map from the original game, as there were no maps on here. I was missing the one at 13E, 18N, I was then able to find everything from there, and got to the end.

Interesting resource if anyone else get's stuck here:

Now I have to start again as load of ghouls and ghosts on level 4 paralysed my team, that will teach me to farm too much!

It does say that in the tool-tips! Luckily, I did manage to get some of them back with a solo mission from "MrIdentify, the identifying Bishop". I was very lucky A, I could get them from the safe side of the door and B no encounters on my way there. Still half got turned into Ash though, and that's the one mechanic I really don't like, I understand it, if you do it yourself, but surely it should not happen so often if you use the Temple, my res spell seems to be just as effective. If I could ask for one change it's get rid of this mechanic for at-least the paid Temple res,

For what it's worth, here's the original Apple ][ mechanics, which presumably were implemented identically in this remake:

*At the Temple of Cant, the resurrect chance is (50 + (3 * Vitality)% if dead or (40 + (3 * Vitality)% if ashes. The character Ages by 1 to 52 weeks.

*DI or KADORTO: The resurrect chance is (4 x Vitality)% of the recipient. The recipient permanently loses 1 Vitality point. If the recipient has only 3 Vitality points when the spell is cast then the recipient character is Lost forever.

This means if you have a 17 or 18 vitality, you'll never turn into ash at the Temple. Note also that the DI spell has much worse odds and drains vitality on res.
