Question about class change
Hello everyone. If I change my priest into a bishop, will she carry over all her spells learned and the number of spells she can carry? If so. What level priest should I change her to bishop for optimal spells learned etc.

All spells learned carried over - yes.
Number of spells she can carry - no. She will get one spell point for each spell she knows of that level. Eg. if she knows 5 level 1 spells, 4 level 2 spells, and 4 level 3 spells, then her maximum spell points will be 5/4/4/0/0/0/0. This will be the case until her new learnings as a bishop overtake these numbers.
What level should you change her - up to you, really. Latumofis/Dial/Maporfic are handy to have (level 7 or 8), but if you wait a couple more levels (level 9 or 10) you can get up to 6 level 5 spell points (Dialma) for a ton of healing. But by then it might be tempting to wait for level 11 and the full heal (Madi). So you see the dilemma.

Agree with everything Dogf said. Just one additional point if you were not aware. Regardless of level you have a chance to learn additional spells of any spell level as long as you know at least one at that level. Example: Your level 11 priest just learned Mabadi, but no other level 6 spells. You convert her to Bishop, she makes level 2 Bishop; she has a chance to learn any of the other level 6 Priest spells. This will occur at each level up until she learns all of the spells at that level and then she has to wait for her Bishop levels to catch up to learn the level 7 spells.

Good info everyone. Thanks. I think I am not good at this game although I am enjoying the experience. I am now level 8 but still only on level 3 dungeon haha. I heard people are finishing level 10 dungeon at lvl 13 haha.

I once tried level 4 and got wiped by this master ninja or something haha.

Level 8 on level 3 of the dungeon is fine. The difficulty increase with each level of the dungeon is far from linear - higher at the start and plateaus a bit later.

Cool thanks. I am trying to take it easy and not rush. Just trying to enjoy it like I used to as a kid. Log in go and explore and really pretend we are in a party of adventurer just seeking treasures etc. then log out. When I first installed this I rushed and died immediately lol. But now that I have adjusted I am really enjoying the more relaxed pace.

By the way. Is the Thief class decent to have in the frontline? So far I tried but he seems to lack damage since this game does not have the usual DnD thief skills of backstabs etc. Or maybe I just need to get him some more gears?

I am currently using Front: Fighter, Lord, Samurai. Back: Thief, Priest and Mage.

But am interested in doing Front: Lord, Samurai, Thief. Back: Bishop, Priest, Mage

Also, the XP requirements increase if not exponentially, substantially. It sounds like you're doing just fine to me. (40ish years playing off and on)

The thief class is a poor front line fighter. There's only one helmet they can wear, they don't get to use gloves, and they don't get any really solid armor pieces. Oh, and they don't naturally get a lot of attacks like normal fighter type jobs.

If you get a thief's dagger and turn your (assuming neutral) thief into a ninja then we're cooking. Otherwise your thief is going to get paralyzed/level drained/stoned a lot because they don't have a very good AC.

ok thanks. My thief has the stats to be a ninja now buuut unfortunately he is indeed neutral alignment in order to join my lord and priest which are good alignments. And game said only evil alignment thieves can become ninja. Guess i will just to stick my current setup then and convert my priest to bishop once she get full heal.

Yeah, to get a neutral thief to be a ninja you have to use the thief's knife.
