Are these common Bugs or issues I'm having specific to playing on Chromebook (uses linux)?
When in combat the text does not always keep scrolling (on the right) and I have to always to manually reset it by scrolling down all the time. Annoying as heck

Worth mentioning here that lack of control over combat speed and text is a huge miss -

Changing options such as screen resolution apply themselves as I select them which wreaks havoc as I try to scroll thru from 1080p to 2k for example as it forces the game to re render each time

Not bug but lack of other quality options in the game really frustrate. Can't change lighting render options for example or other quality other then v-sync on, frame limit and resolution. This is 2024...

When rolling new chars with random stat option enabled, iit cycle between +7, 8 and 9 then every now and then you can get 18, 19 or 20. What gives? Seems like a big bug to me.

When in some of the larger rooms any walls 2+ tiles away that are off to either side by 2 tiles are invisible/blacked out and you can actually see props thru them (such as teleport wizard on first floor).

Certain popup notifications such as if your party hit a pit trap that prompt a button press to close can disappear and soft lock unless you discern this is what happened or get lucky and push the button (A on controller) to close the invisible window. This happened when I opened up the map. Pure Jank.

Why does a shortsword -1 cost so much more then a plain shortsword?

Weapons have a stat called no min. or 1 attack min. or something - what the heck is that? The shortsword -1 has 1 attack min. is that why it is so expensive despite being -1 to hit?

Lack of manual is still a beef - Vim is the big example but there are plenty of other wonders - such as what exactly the other stats on char sheets do for saving throws and how they are derived

There are others. I want to just enjoy the game but I'm finding it hard with these in your face issues that scream a lazy lack of professional development on this project. That thread for the price is spot on - it WOULD be well worth $35 if all of these were fixed during early access.

I can't answer all but here are a few I can:

Not a bug but part of the original programming. Most of the time you get 7-9, lucky roll is 18-20 and super lucky 26-29.

I think it was to make it more costly to uncurse in case a character equiped it or a bishop failed to identify it and got cursed with it.

Yep, this is the biggest miss in the whole game! First turn based game I've played without one. And I have a lot of turn based games!
