This run is done if i cant cheat or fix this and im not gonna waste my time grinding another party up.
thanks for the encouraging words though , and thanks for that workaround.
Sadly its 2024 and there are too many games and not enough time.
i think if the developers want new players to actually complete the dungeon they might consider including a cheat engine into the game like so many remakes of JRPG's do. Its a shame because its a brilliant game but it doesn't respect your time.
I see the dev's are quite stubborn on the request for battle speed options so i suppose i have my answer there. too bad.
thanks.
one party completing this game is not the droid you are looking for. the idea here is to create many successful parties. its also to lose parties and start over. the idea is to turn the $ paid into less than a penny per day of game owned and played. if you raise 20 parties to big-time status, you will look back on the idea that you wanted to quit after 1 as adolescent silliness. this game eats parties. if you would rather drink milk than chew jalapenos, you should definitely quit.
Wizardry Brothers of Fortitude, a toast: May our kind out-last the tsunami of modern gaming attitude.
what a dweeb
Back in the day there was a program called WizEdit that allowed you to "cheat." Unfortunately, there is nothing for this particular remaster as far as I know.
If you want a TRULY punishing experience, get this remake on consoles -- no options to control when you save. No options to reload. No way to control the awful RNG on level ups.
yes we do!! DO NOT CRY and LIE at the same time. you can save, copy and load from 5 save slots. you can quit/save any time. xbox version running smoothly by the way. nice port.
they don't care
tbh i don't care either
it's up to YOU to decide weather or not you want to complete the dungeon
my advice for everyone?
map the level yourself
this gets you even more invested in each dive, puts you in the dungeon longer and more times, helps you gain familiarity with the enemies and layouts, and ends with you having more experience and gold.
the "modern day settings" only show how entitled modern day gamers are and how all of our modern day games have suffered as a result of things like automapping, waypoints and journals/notes/hints.
this old game shows that you can have a blast if you do these things yourself.
