I'd done that about 30 times and got the shuriken.
After over 50 times, I also got evil +2 and +3 plates, a couple of Vorpal blades, +3 breastplate, silver gauntlets, 2 shields +2, ring of porfic, 3-4 rods of flame, and some sort of armor I haven't made it back with yet to ID, but it is shaped like nothing I've seen so far.
I got the muramasa and Lord's Garb from level 10, but stopped getting anything after over 50 runs so I'm just farming the Fire Dragon for fun now. I have three Lords on the front line, so I'm doing that, then I'll ID all the monsters if possible. Just shooting for the last two accomplishments of meeting all and ID-ing all now.
By the way, this was after weeks of farming on Floor 10.
Didn't even realize Fire Dragons dropped top end loot?
If you look at the Bestiary (assuming that you have the dragon partially or fully observed), you will see that it belongs to treasure tier S, which has a 5% chance of dropping the highest quality of gear. Because you can generate so many fights back to back just by Exiting to Title Menu and loading to respawn the dragon, you have a good chance of getting one of those items.
I myself was able to get 2 Muramasa's Blades, 2 Lord's Garbs, 4 Rings of Health, +3 Armor of Evil, +2 Helm of Evil, and a Ring of Protection from Undead just by grinding it.

Sadly, I have not yet been able to find a Vorpal Blade, even after 150+ hours of gameplay. You would think that, being a somewhat less rare item, I would have found one by now but, no, most of the higher tier loot dropped for me first.
If you really want overpowered farming, try going for Werdna's Amulet. Like all Room battles, the battle with Werdna can be reset by Quitting and reloading (which will take you back to his office door).

In this case, do not choose Exit to Title menu, as there is a glitch (at least in my game) where, if you reload the game from the Title screen while Werdna's Amulet is in your possession, you will lose it and all your items and gain 250,000 XP, as though you had turned it in. This will happen even if you are still in the Maze and may potentially trap you, naked, behind enemy lines.
Instead, Alt-F4 or Quit is a safe option, It may take a slightly longer time to load your save this way but it is worth it. Within the span of 15 minutes, I was able to farm something like 17 of the amulets (2 Muramasa's Blades, courtesy of the Floor 7 Fire Dragon, made quick work of everything, including Werdna).
What you can then do is Malor back to the entrance of the first floor, dump all but 6 of the Amulets on mules you've stationed there, and continue adventuring with one Amulet in each party member's possession.
You don't even need to equip the Amulet, Just keep it in your inventory and it provides the following benefits:
+5 Regen every few steps and in every round of combat
50% damage reduction from all spells flung against you
50% chance that any enemy will skip its turn against you (due to its "Protection Against" effects, which apply to all creatures)
With the Amulet, your party is virtually unkillable and allows you to ID the Floor 10 creatures in relative safety, if you are aiming for that achievement.
And when you want to return to town, you can dump off the Amulets with the mules. After that, you can safely return to Title screen if you want.
Alternatively, if you want to level up an obscene amount, you can dump off all your equipment and all your amulets except one, and then go claim your XP reward. Then go back out to the Maze, and transfer one amulet into your possession, After getting your XP reward, you can go back to the Maze and get another amulet, Rinse and repeat until you've turned in as many amulets as you want.
This method allowed me to gain 4,000,000 XP in one run and fastracked my characters from level 13 to level 19 or 20. I just completed another cycle of amulet farming just now and have now raised my character's levels to past 25.
As far as I can tell, this is the only way to reach the level cap without grinding for hundreds of hours.
I wish I could trade you some of my Vorpal Blades for some of your Lord's Garb. That one and the Ring of Health have eluded me, thus far.
And for anyone saying “but cheats! Play as it should be played!” I can show photos of my graph paper where I wrote in 83-84 every single item hex value and name from Wiz I and II, and I can still hex edit on my original Apple //e the games of Wiz. So yeah, standard fare :)
Thankfully, you don't need to justify yourself to anyone. It's a single player game. It's not anyone's business how you to choose to play it!
