sorry for my bad englishingleetering
You are doing very well! Never apologize for trying! And although you have a point, personally I think they are not right by selling a game which still promotes active development and promises of improvement. Thats just not right. If the description of the game changed then I'd be more understanding for it. But now its just a scam
Steam doesn't give a F. There's an indie game that was abandoned years and years ago, dev team doesn't even exist anymore. Yet, it's still a game that can be bought even though it's awful.
Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for the compliment. Yeah, I helped them a LOT with finding bugs to squash, and they did for awhile; but after that one Unity Engine update in 2014, they just gave up and moved on. Bad business practice. Especially after taking money from certain players to build new areas that never happened.
I found a workaround to make the game working:
(1) Open Steam
(2) Disconnect your internet connection
(3) Open World of Diving
Play.
Btw. once you reconnect you internet connection the game will crash. Play offline. Single player works fine.
Also can you please provide a list of all the better diving games? I mean, there's so many I've lost track and you appear to be really competent, so please go ahead.
Not sure what your agenda is - but maybe... you can put all that effort into developing a better game instead.
I just checked it on both AMD and Nvidia (latest drivers). Game works just fine and my progression is there.
It does start normally, loads everything normally, my encyclopedia is all saved as well.
Check your firewall / drivers etc. - seems your computer has an issue unrelated to the game.
Unfinished and buggy game.
The idea was good but the greed is stronger.
You may have overlooked my question but can you PLEASE list what better diving simulators we have that are more complete and polished?
I'm terribly confused why so many call this bad while there just is nothing better that I know of, even after the many years since release, or am I overlooking a super rare gem that does it better?
Also I'm not even a native english speaker but am I the only person understanding the definition of scam and having zero issues playing the game?
My progress is saved, my encyclopedia is all saved, steam cloud saves work, I can start and run the game just fine... and again, which game even does it better?
I mean yes, development halted, like with 90% of the games on steam. Not even Subnautica was ever finished or in a state that was promised when I backed it. And that made literally 10000x the money of WoD... if not more.
