My guess is he's leaving the game running while he uses his computer.

They don't. That person is just leaving the game on while he does other things.
Still, there are some people that do have a large amount of hours and actually plays it. An example would be my friend and I.

M8 I've got 800 hours into it. It's my favorite game ever.

He actually does play the game, and I keep seeing you posting everywhere. You wanna give it a rest? We all understand this game changed your life.

Okay, let's do a bit of maths… At time of writing, Rocky has now played Go! Go! Nippon! for 1,872.3 hours. The game has been available from Steam for over 2112 hours.
1872.3/2112 == approximately 0.89
This means that Rocky has been spending about 89% of their life since Go! Go! Nippon! was released playing the game. People need to sleep, too!
24*(1-0.89) == approximately 3
So Rocky has at the very most three hours to sleep each evening. I'm going to assume Rocky is spending the whole three hours sleeping. So the whole of their waking life is spent playing Go! Go! Nippon! and has to eat, wash, go shopping or whatever all while playing Go! Go! Nippon!. Let's assume Go Go! Nippon! takes seven hours to complete. This is actually a bit on the high side.
1872.3/7 == approximately 267
Rocky could have completed the game (both routes) 267 times in the time that they've been playing! Surely you'd get bored after playing it over and over again so many times.

Somehow I don't think this is likely, so I'd like to see some proof if you're going to assert that Rocky has really been playing Go! Go! Nippon! that much.

What does my thread have to do with posting on others?

Exactly. Very logical, well done!

Oh, I'm very serious. I think most people would find it ludicrous to imagine someone playing this game so much. But I could ask you the same question: Are you serious? Are you seriously claiming Rocky has been playing Go! Go! Nippon! 21 hours a day for the past few months? Because I'm not sure what you're trying to prove with that. Maybe you're a friend of Rocky and you want to support their entitlement to bragging rights? That's the only explanation I can think of for someone to claim that someone else has been playing a game that much. On the other hand, you might not be serious. It might be all a big joke to you. Well in that case, you seem to be the only one laughing. And if you want to laugh, then that's perfectly fine. But I wouldn't expect anyone else to join you.

Honestly, Go! Go! Nippon! is a great game, and I myself have spent a fair amount of time playing it since 2011, but I doubt anyone apart from maybe those affiliated with MangaGamer/OVERDRIVE would have spent more than 100 hours playing it (and even that is a bit of a stretch).

People that go over-the-top for visual novels like me do spend a large quantity of time playing it. I'm an avid visual novel player/reader, and I have to say, this one really stands out for me. While I agree with the fact that someone playing it for 21 hours a day is practically-literally impossible, people that really does like it will indeed spend quite a lot of time playing a game, even if it's a visual novel. You don't have to believe me, but I've spent 600+ hours on Bloody Rondo, and that's just my 3rd most played visual novel.

Plus, you yourself have 117 hours of Narcissu xD

Hm, I guess it's possible. Not that I particularly understand why anyone would want to play one game that much. There are loads of visual novels out there after all, and I prefer to play different ones rather than the same one over and over again. That said, I wish I had the time to play visual novels that much… ^^;

And I haven't actually played 117 hours of Narcissu. Since I've been working on the engine, I have left the game running for extended periods of time for stress-testing.

I'm not serious, because its a game. A "Visual Novel" if you will doesn't need this level of tryhard (avid gaming) that you and your buddy KC give it.
