Trust me, if you love Japan that much, then you should just watch a documentary or read a book. This game is just ridiculous.
This game is the equivelant of learning to speak Japanese by mimicking anime voice actors. It's over the top reactions and a strange obsession with the trains and subways of the area.
Picture a Japanese person going to New York City and screaming in broken english that the subway passes are the most innovative discovery since electricity. Then screaming about how the particular station he is standing in is so insanely busy and how americans are super crazy fun time, because of their abilities to use the subway and be near other people at the same time. How will he ever learn to navigate this super complex society!?!? Then he goes to your house where your 2 teenage daughters are home alone and drools over one's tatas and the other one's ability to use a spatula.
I just reviewed this entire game...
I'd play it :D
sounds fun to be honest. as long as one doesn't expect a super-serious documentary, i guess.
10/10 review. To be fair the game is informative if you're curious about Japan. Yes there are plenty of better, faster ways to learn about it than this game. No, you shouldn't be playing this to learn Japanese.
And Secret of the Magic Crystals will always be the #1 troll game to gift your friends. This doesn't come close.
