game crashing on hitting continue

anytime I now try to continue my game the game just completely hard crashes without any reason behind it, which is very unfortunate.

Hi, sorry for delay.
Can you please send me your save files. they are located in
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\AeternaLudi\NSI\
folder.
I need the sav files.
Also, you can send these requests to our discord channel. You can get results much faster from there.

I turned on the most recent Beta for the game and the issue seemingly stopped appearing.
But there is however one thing I personally want to add and that is, I don't think telling players to join your discord for better support is a great idea because I personally wont join a discord for a game purely for a singular question only to then have it rot away in my server tab thing.

Ofcourse, we are trying to reply everything posted here aswell, was very busy with the upcoming major patch, we will get to repairing all the problems once our content is out
