Switching stickers?

I have the Mac version of this game. I'm stuck on Chapter 4 right now. Help!

I grabbed another 'flame' sticker right after getting the 'clown smile' sticker, and now I can't put the smile on the ghost Doctor.

I'm pretty sure there is a way to choose which sticker you want to use for a task, I just can't figure out how to do it on the Mac version.

Is there a key or mouse function I am missing that will let me pick the sticker I want to use?

i think on pc you switch the stickers using the mouse wheel.

Yeah it's the only way but the game doesn't give you any tutorial/instruction for that command which is sad really

Maybe the instruction is bugged sometimes, but I got the instruction to use the mouse wheel to change stickers after I picked up the target and was already holding the helium and fire.
