Are there similar games or movies to Speedball 2? Something similar to the sport played, or the cyberpunk atmosphere, something like that.

While not a ball game Smash TV is a gritty cyberpunk game. You can win fantastic prizes such as 'toasters' after each round of slaughter. Its loosely based on the Stephen King book and Arnold Schwartzeggar film 'The Running Man'.

There aren't many but Brutal Sports Football and Wild Cup Soccer were the other more well known Amiga era sports plus fighting games. They leaned more towards combat than this which was more sports with some spicy violence.
