How will the new Level Editor work?

Although the game is not out yet, I'm curious to know how will the level editor work in this game. Is this like a Steam Workshop for the game or one of those download & install type of things like Portal 1?

There's a picture of what the level editor looks like on the store page, which will show you most of how it works and its features.

I'm not sure how you will share levels yet.

The game does not list Steam Workshop compatibility, nor is the level editor included in the Steam Tools section.

My best guess is that the level editor and level sharing is all done in-game using the game's servers and programming instead of Steam.

When you start up the game it gives you the option to use the game or the level editor. The levels save as their own filetype and when you press custom level on the game it brings up a filesearch promt in which you select the level file that you want to play.

As theres no steam workshop I guess we'll have to find a way to host them online. Maybe someone with website knowledge could make a hub for uploading, downloading, and rating levels.

Yes! I have website knowledge, as well as a website, so I'm going to try my best at making such a website. Obviously it'll take some time, but we'll see how far I can get!

Nice work man, I'm currently working on a level and hopefully can finish by tommarow. First ever level so it would be kinda rusty but hope its alright.
