compared to pressing limit break button doing 9999 dmg and watching a flashy cutscene? Been in the series since uh 1996?

Delusional much? This is the first time in the series the combat is extremely polished and balanced, but I guess the lack of menus makes ur pea brain melt, maybe menu faffing about in rebirth is more your speed (in wait mode ofc)

They do have a point though. The combat is nice but there is way too many cut-scenes just being tossed in there. Feels like I am watching a movie at this point. Decent story, good voice acting but a bit too many cinematic fights.

Story is well-written and done well enough for cutscenes.

Side quests and the mass effect style conversations fall flat though.

I'm trying to finish it because I love the story and the characters but is the gameplay considered Elder Ring style? I've never played those games, and I'm not liking it, switched to the auto win accessories and story focused gameplay because I can no longer be arsed, I loved the ♥♥♥♥ out of Rebirth although my favorite remains X
