FF16's story and characters are what drew me in and kept me playing, personally. The gameplay is okay but couldn't support the game's length. If you're not vibing with it then just drop it, because the combat mechanics don't evolve too much.

Next time you spend your money you should probably research about a game beforehand. There are plenty of videos on youtube you can find with game footage to judge for probably any game you play.
