should have just played it on my PS5 back when it released
Don't worry it runs just as poorly on AMD GPUs though without the stuttering which seems to be a NVidia specific issue. But it still runs like crap. When you disable FSR the game manages to look worste than FSR Native AA because FSR provides sharpening effect. The cutscenes are not pre-rendered (or so it seems) so idk what is the limiting factor there other than pure laziness. At least the demo saved me 70 euro. Probably going to buy this on deep sale in 10-16 months. We already had to wait for a long time for this port so i can forget about this game for another year no problem.
Sigh... Probably going to get solved by Flawless Widescreen plugin.
It is surprising that a YoshiP game doesn't support it. He's usually very dialed in to what players want, so there has to be a reason for it and it's likely the QTE heavy cutscenes.
Either way, I'm fairly confident at the least they'll be a community fix for it. Matter of fact... just found one in another thread here, but it currently only works for the demo. https://github.com/Lyall/FFXVIFix
Yes, i made a video on it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOQshoV2tBg
