On RX 580 with 8 GB game does't launch because devs locked game from rigs with such GPUs. Well, looks like devs just do not want us to buy their game.

What I do not understand: what do they need powerful GPUs for? Graphics looks obsolete, Cyberpunk 2077, Dead Space remake, last Call of Duty, Sony releases - they run like charm on my GPU and they have much better graphics.

this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game even on gtx1030 starts, it's impossible to play, but the fact is the fact.
You would think that the game uses mesh shaders like in alan wake 2, but for example gtx 1060 (as well as other gtx cards up to 1650) does not support them and still shows good performance.
in general I mean that maybe it's a problem on amd's side and before release there may be a driver that will fix it, otherwise I can't explain how video cards even worse in performance than rx580 run this.

к релизу эту тему в любом случае должны еще больше разогнать, но я бы вообще предпочел что бы до этого не дошло и они просто это починили (амд либо сквары не ♥♥♥ кто косячит)

I believe the issue is related to a driver problem. If I'm not mistaken, AMD unfortunately stopped providing driver support for that card. The game might become playable by using modded drivers (like Amernime, etc.). In fact, the game is playable on less powerful NVIDIA GPUs, so it’s not purely a VRAM issue.
Another possibility is that the game simply marks any AMD GPU not using RDNA as 'unsupported,' which would exclude the RX 4xx/5xx series. In this case, there's a bit of laziness on the developers' part.

EDIT: seems like the game need DX12 12.1 capable hardware, just like Forspoken did before patch 1.03. So yeah...

No, just updated driver today to a new version. It is new driver with RX4xx/RX5xx GPUs support. So new drivers are provided for these cards. But FF16 still refuses to launch. XD

Well, I guess, I have to buy Dragon Age Veilguard instead - at least, that devs know how to optimize their games judging by Veilguard system requirements.

You can run this game on RX580 but it has to be the full game with Adrenaline 24.9.1+ drivers. The demo won't let you start.

Not running on my RX580 with all the drivers updated + clean windows 11 install. I'm still getting the same 'Graphics card not supported' error when launching the full game
