Wtf is a "spectacle fighter"

Is that what people call Character Action games now? I hope not, i'm still mad people are trying to call Dungeon Crawlers "blobbers"

Spectacle fighter was, afaik, coined by the youtuber Yahtzee. Basically any game that plays in any way similar to DMC or bayonetta. Which from all the footage I've seen its a pretty good comparison. That and they got the combat director from DMC5 to work on it as well. I have never heard anyone call dungeon crawlers blobbers, that just seems nonsensical.

it should be stylish action, but since character action makes zero sense, ima settle for spectacle fighter. at least that actually describes the genre somewhat.

It's defining what the Eikon fights are. Large, cinematic, stylish/finesse combat.
