I didn’t realise this had a whole bunch of comments on until now. For added information, I bought FFXVI on Ps5 day 1 and enjoyed it, I was excited at the thought of playing it on PC one day but not having Ultrawide support is really off-putting, especially when you consider it’s fairly easy for developers to make support for it nowadays; plenty of smaller devs do.

Instead they know the modding community will make a fix for it (along with any other issues) so they cut corners. We shouldn’t support devs that do this.

Square Enix and many other publishers making a killing while refusing to support ultrawide will surely miss the minority of sales that wouldn't even put a dent into their profits. I'm sure they're weeping at the fact that you and others that gave into the new fad didn't buy their game.

Making a killing? Most if not all of their games have been mediocre or outright bad. FF16 included

Doesn't have it for a wild reason though - it's considered a breach of the anticheat backround programme. So if you start it without Anticheat, voila, ultrawide.
