PS5 vs PC comparison so far?
Is there anyone here who played the demo/game on PS5 that can chime in how it looks/plays in comparison?

Just curious.

The PC version is jarring because gameplay has higher fps but the pre rendered cutscenes look awful.

PS5 version was a mess performance wise tbh.

They both play similarly but pc is superior as far as gameplay goes because of the consistent higher resolution and fps.

Unless mods change the game significantly I won’t buy it again on pc.

Depens on your hardware.

Runs far worse in a equivalent spec machine, as expected.

13700K/4090 user here. Only played the PS5 Demo and the image quality in performance mode was a disgrace, while not even maintaining 60fps as far as I remember.

Now playing with DLDSR at 5760x3240 and DLSS balanced, maxed out settings and with frame generation at 70-100fps, which feels incredible snappy, with just perfect image clarity.

Exactly why I waited to play on PC. The demo seems very optimized as well.

I don't think it looks better at all and as for fps and resolution you will be a very good PC

It runs a lot smoother if u have the right hardware or help of software features but theres a weird blur for me. I think I have managed to get rid of it now though. I think with some tweaking it will be better on PC.

I think I could definitely do with an upgrade if I want to run it without software features though lol.

the amd scaling is better so far, something is wrong with the nvidia setting it makes it very blurry. Cutscenes are the worst.

Is it not blurry for you with DLSS on, it was super blurry for me and a few others mentioned it too. What about cutscenes are u finding anyone not close to the screen is blurry?

DLSS is very blurry for me at 1440p.
DLAA is also surprisingly blurry when it shouldn't be, the sharpness bar doesn't seem to do anything with DLSS 3.
FSR 3 at "Native AA" setting looks way better, but performance is worse than DLAA.

Edit* I got rid of the blurriness with the Nvidia sharpness filter.

Also in 2k here so maybe it's an issue there. I managed to get it pretty nice in the end but I had to either disable scaling completely or go with the AMD one

Great I have the same rig (13900k but this will make no difference I guess).
I did not purchase any console this gen (unless we consider the Switch is from this gen), thus I waited for this game.

There is no stuttering ?

I’m on holiday so I will preorder based on other people reports
I target 4k 60, 120 bonus but maxing out graphics is my priority (unless it’s under 60)

I quit the PS5 version because it could barely maintain 30 fps in 4K mode.

With an RTX4080 PC it pretty much solved all the performance issues I had on PS5. Could probably still use some work but it's in a decent state. I think once this is patched up in a month or two it will be fine.

it was running like crap on ps5 in performance mode

At 4K with DLAA it's still pretty blurry IMO. Only with DLDSR on top and 50-60% sharpness slider und DLSS quality/balanced it looks good.

Havent tested FSR so much yet, but it looks overall sharper than DLSS I think. Also because the ingame sharpness slider does not seem to work with DLSS enabled. I can't really see a difference.

Cutscenes seem to look more blurry in general, thats a stylistic choice from the developer. Maybe we can tweak INI settings in the final game.

S-e doesn't patch their games, just saying.
