Excuse me, but what? FFXVI is a BIG departure from past entries in that it is a full fledged ACTION game in the same vein as GOW. They both focus on spectacle-driven boss battles and button mashing. I don't think they differ in as many ways as you want them to.

They're dropping the trailer and demo out of nowhere, game is out on PS5 for a very long time already. Square is not even hyping this game up for pc lol, the marketing is almost non existence--- it's just the long awaited PC port. This is not meant to compete with Wukong, and besides it will be released in like a good month. Wukong hype will die down in a few weeks especially with how demanding the game is.

Not everyone buys games the moment they drop. Doing that is actually pretty stupid given how broken and buggy games are at launch. Name a game that released in a near-flawless state day 1.
